From the responses, discussion and high numbers of people reading the posts, it is clear that many of you out there have a wealth of experience to share and, more importantly, are more than willing to help others. The ICT Register is an initiative by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust in association with BECTA that connects schools who are leading the way in exciting and innovative use of technology for learning with schools who want to improve their use of technology. Many schools have sought advice and direct help since the start of the register in 2004.

Over the next few months a specific strand will be added to the ICT Register for learning platform use. Please register your school and information about what you may have to offer others. Many have already found the benefits of sharing their good practice in many other areas of technology use, I am sure that this will be an important and dynamic addition to the facilities offered through the Register complimenting this community as we continue to share and discuss all things 'learning platform '.
